Inside DClip

Clipping, detail
and character.

Choose one processing mode per instance. Each shares the same multiband controls, so you can explore different approaches without changing your workflow.

01 / DCLIP

Shape the peaks.

02 / SPECTRAL

Clipping paired with spectral detail preservation. Shape the signal while bringing back quiet content removed by clipping.

03 / COLOR

Add character.

Five analog-inspired saturation styles. Give different bands their own character, then refine the result with tone and filter controls.

The multiband approach

Work on the range
that matters.

Use one band for broad changes, or split the signal into up to four frequency bands for more focused control.

  1. Choose your range.Drag the crossovers and select the band you want to shape.
  2. Listen in context.Solo a band, then return to the full signal to hear the result.
  3. Compare your choices.Use A/B, presets, undo and redo while you explore.
